The winemaker

Domain Owner

Owner and founder of the Domaine de la Meunerie, located in Trouillas in in the Eastern Pyrenees, I am a worker at heart, self-taught, with an atypical career path. Despite a few pitfalls, I had the chance to meet some great people who have shaped my life.

I first cut my teeth in construction and more specifically in the renovation of old buildings where I discovered stone and cayrou work. I then continued my agricultural studies.

During an internship in a winery in Burgundy, it was the discovery of winemaking and Burgundian know-how that guided me towards the profession of winemaker. A certainty was born: I wanted to make my own wine!

I then decided to renovate the old family mill to establish my farm there. This is where my second life began with my first vinifications in the old stables.

Passionate and in love with life, I am committed to producing precise, sincere and authentic wines, offering great finesse.

The Domain

In the thick of Aspres

Located in the Aspres, typical agricultural territory of the Eastern Pyrenees, the Domaine de la Meunerie has a total of 18 hectares entirely converted into organic farming.

This Roussillonnais territory takes its name from its arid soils (dominant clay-limestone).

With ideal sunshine and a dry north wind favoring a good sanitary state of the vines, these are the perfect conditions for the production of fine and elegant wines, offering a beautiful roundness.

It is near the mill that a modern and semi-buried winery is located, recently joined by gites to develop a wine tourism project.
